As I like surfing I chose a topic about an athlete with a special story who does water sports.
A professional surfer who loses her arm in a shark attack and continues surfing was just the right thing to test the ai.
The story turned out to be fine and choosing that smoky narrators voice together with a few cuts from footage of Bethany Hamilton from the internet created that clip just fine.
Blade Runner fan video
I‘ve been playing around with midjourney for some time and find ai generated images faszinating. Promting is the most challenging part though. Somehow I came across works by @candentchromatic and @eoft_ai which gave me strong blade runner vibes.
By that time Grok started it‘s free of use service of animating images, so I threw in a few of @candentchromatic and @eoft_ai works and it looks great from the start. I started to search their work for certain scenes and moments and began to create a 3 act structure. Without the music and just sounds the clip is fine but with the proper music you can feel the images.

A music video which never got published
One day I found tiny dolls on a flea market and instantly thought about a band. By that time I used to do a lot of music videos so I knew I could it use it for a project, sooner or later. Then I met a girl from a band on concert and I asked her if I could do a video for them because they were just perfect fot my dolls. So I did it. During the process, I had finished the band performance but also had an idea of second narrative. But I got carried away with animations and scene building so when the band had her record release date for that song where they could have used the video I was too shy to give it to them because I thought I wasn’t finished yet.
The lesson: I should have just finished the video as it was at that point and then simply did another one, better and bigger.
Pitch for an explainer video
I pitched this idea to show the mechanics and the style I would create for the video. An animated avatar would guide through the video where the chalkboard and the television would function as sources for the companies information, graphs, sheets and videos to be shown in the video.
Pitch for a case study
Did this for a job interview where I was asked to create a short clip for the memorial day of a terror attack on a synagogue in Halle. The task was to only use free material from the internet and to double check my sources of the facts I would deliver in the video.
As I dug into the guys history who radicalized himself, built his weapons and went out on a killing spree, I tried to communicate the ongoings but also produce a message everyone can relate to.
