Since 2011 Philipp Gabriel is working in the field of media creation.
Videography and Video Editing:
After filmschool I started my way into the business by shooting music videos. In the beginning I did almost everything by myself. So shoot and edit was always part of the job. This tought me a lot espacially to handle different camera systems and quickly learn how to use them. I was never afraid of using new tools, which makes me able to handle different types of software programs and easiely adapt to new ones.

Saudi Arabia at BIO 2025 International Convention

Production of seven videos for the fair booth of Saudi Arabia on the BIO international 2025. The booth was equiped with several screens giving the pavillion special zones for certain topics. I had to research 4k stock footage from shutterstock and from the given sources provided by the saudi governmentals. Out of this I create seven videos based on scripts provided by the agency. Edited with DavinciResolve and Final Cut Pro.

Production of a series of short socil media videos as part of a social media campaign to promote a new debit card by UniCredit for young people.
It was a travel, shoot and edit production. Each video was shot and edited the same day ready to upload the same day.
I led the team in terms of filmmaking as the moderator took responisbility of travel and hosting the challenges.
UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour - Berlin

Covering the event of the UEFA Chhampions League Trophy arriving in Berlin for two days.
Production Management:
A fair part of my life in the media business I was working in the film industry as a location manager where I took care of large scale productions from pre production, throughout the actual shooting period. Working within tight time schedules, scouting locations, negotiating contracts with location owners, managing crew and cast on set, organizing the parking of film vehicles to set up a functional and efficent base for the production infrastructure and last but not least providing the accessibility to water, sewage and electricity.

Filmmaking and Directing:
Every work asks a different question, and every question deserves its own language. To direct is not to impose a signature upon every story, but to remain open, to discover the rhythm hidden within a place, a face, a silence, or a fleeting gesture. One story may find its truth in stillness, another in chaos. Filmmaking is a lifelong search, an act of curiosity that wanders freely across genres, styles, and ideas, always seeking the form that allows a story to reveal its deepest self.
